There are about 1,000 horses that will make their way to the Adirondacks between June 28th – July 10th for The Lake Placid Horse Show! Horse Jumping History
In 2019 The Lake Placid Horse Show marked 50 years of tradition. Moreover, hunter and jumper competition has been around since the mid 18th century. Later on, In 1900, Show Jumping made its first olympic appearance. Following this appearance, hunter and jumper competition slowly got more attraction across the world. After the 1912 Olympic Games in Sweden, the event was established as a competitive sport.

The Lake Placid Horse Show is taking place June 28th – July 10th 2022, beginning at 8am every morning and going until 5pm each evening.
