Today we officially usher in fall. You know what that means – it’s time for Oktoberfest! The annual Whiteface Mountain Oktoberfest is September 28th and 29th and celebrates Bavarian culture all weekend long. SKI Magazine rated it as one of the five Must-Visit Oktoberfests in North America!
Along with plenty of food and drink, Oktoberfest features live music and Bavarian dancing. Youngsters are welcome too, and 12s and under get free admission. There are lots of activities to entertain the kids, such as the Little Circus, face painting, and carnival rides. And don’t pass up the opportunity to go for a scenic Cloudspitter Gondola Ride when you’re there. It’ll take you up to the summit of Little Whiteface for spectacular autumn views.
