The Ausable River is an especially fruitful place to fly fish and take in the gorgeous Adirondack scenery. April 1st is opening day for fishing in the Adirondacks, with peak fishing season continuing through June.
The Ausable Two-Fly Challenge is coming up on May 13-15th. It’s a great way to learn by watching the best. The event has three divisions: the women’s division, the men’s division, and the competitive division. The competitive division is for Pro fisherman or anyone who has won in the Ausable River Two-Fly within the past five years.
