GO Cottage — Dual Cottage Retreat is a historic, private boutique compound in Lake Placid, NY — two restored 1924 Adirondack cottages on one fully fenced property, available exclusively as a single rental. Combined, the two cottages offer 1,400 sq ft sleeping 6–8 guests with complete privacy. There is nothing else like it in Lake Placid.

The Two Bedroom Cottage (1,000 sq ft) features a Hästens King — a legendary Swedish luxury bed brand — a Queen bed, a silver-leafed clawfoot tub and shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and an in-unit washer and dryer. The Studio Cottage (400 sq ft) has a heated California King, a fully equipped kitchenette, and an antique clawfoot tub and shower — perfect as a private suite for a couple, parents, or guests who want their own space.

Set back 150 yards from the road on a quiet, fully fenced property, the compound is just a 10-minute walk to Lake Placid Main Street and 10 miles from Whiteface Mountain and the Adirondacks’ best ski resorts. Both cottages have been featured in Country Living, Domino, and HGTV’s Small Space, Big Style for their design and boutique character.

Amenities include: HVAC air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, free parking, Spectrum Live TV, Netflix, MAX, in-unit washer/dryer, and all linens and towels provided.
