Fall officially begins this Wednesday. You know what that means – it’s time for Oktoberfest! The annual Whiteface Mountain Oktoberfest is October 3rd and 4th and celebrates Bavarian culture all weekend long.

Along with plenty of food and drink, Oktoberfest features tons of live music, including performances by America’s number one German band, die Schlauberger. There are also activities to entertain the kids, such as the Little Circus, face painting, and carnival rides.
The Oktoberfest Lederhosen 5k is a fun trail run around Whiteface Mountain, and registration includes a pint glass and a free beer. To soak in even more of the fall foliage, take the Cloudspitter Gondola up to the summit of Little Whiteface for spectacular autumn views.
