Just after a summer storm a gorgeous rainbow appeared right in front of GO-Cottage! WOW! It was spectacular! The Adirondacks and Lake Placid have the most incredible storms!

what can you say except blueberry pancakes rock on a beautiful saturday morning! especially if it’s accompanied with fresh bacon strips made to order. make sure to add fresh creamy butter and south meadow farms maple syrup! umm, good!

When it’s the 4th of July you know it’s Margarita time! Here’s our favorite recipe

over ice or you can also shake it and have it straight up. this recipe insures NO hang overs! perfect for a hot summer 4th of july BBQ! enjoy!!

If you like IPA’s you’ll want to check out the Lake Placid Pub and Brewery! This is the hoppiest brew around. It’s been awarded the best brewery in NY State. Best when consumed by the growler.

Donnelly’s is by far the best soft ice cream we’ve ever had. And this flavor, Red Raspberry is our favorite!

This Risotto dish is one our favorites! Very tasty  with just a dash of lemon! Umm, good!

Henry’s Woods is our favorite hiking/running trail in Lake Placid! It’s also just up the street. This photo was taken in early June and the woods are already so lush and beautiful.

This is the greatest summer scallops dish! This dish consists of fresh grilled scallops, corn and nectarines with cherry tomatoes and basil puree! We highly suggest trying this dish for any summer occasion.
