Directions
to the GO-Cottage from New York City
and other
points South:
Join the New York Thruway at Albany, exit the New York Thruway at
Exit 24, pay your toll and take I-87 North (no tolls!) towards Montreal.
Exit at Exit 30 (milepost 104) and turn left at the bottom of the
exit ramp and follow signs toward Lake Placid and Keene Valley. At
this point you'll be about 30 minutes away. Follow the signs along
Route 73 to Lake Placid. The first thing you see coming into Lake
Placid are the ski jumps on your left. GO-Cottage
is about 1 mile from the ski jumps, on the left hand side of road
and is located on Sentinel Road (Route 73) inside the Village of Lake Placid. Right next
to the famous
"Chair 6," the best Breakfast
and Lunch spot in town! The cross street is Power House Road. The Cottages are nestled back in the woods
about 200 yards off the road.
Look
for a small blue and white garage that says GO-Cottage
on it!

Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Ohio and other points West:
Take Route 86 to the third traffic light. Take a right and continue
down the hill. We are a half a mile from that light on the right hand
side of road. Right before Chair 6, Breakfast & Lunch. The cross street is Power House Road. The Cottages are nestled back in the woods about 200 yards off the road. Look
for a small blue and white garage that says GO-Cottage on it!

Montreal and other points North:
Take Exit 34 off the Adirondack North way (I-87). Take a left at the
end of ramp and follow Route 9N until you reach Route 86. Take a right
onto Route 86 and follow the signs to Lake Placid. At the first traffic
light take a left and continue down the hill. We are one half mile
from the light on the right hand side. Right before Chair 6, Breakfast
& Lunch. The cross street is Power House Road. The Cottages are nestled back in the woods about 200 yards off the road. Look for a small blue and white garage that says GO-Cottage on it!
